In coming months, the staffing industry might begin to see more staff members on payroll. According to Simply Hired's April 2013 Employment Outlook report, last month saw a marked rise in job openings throughout the country.

Simply Hired, an online job positing site, found job advertisements grew 8.4 percent in March with the manufacturing industry first among the fields surveyed with a 15.2 percent boost. Other industries seeing improvements month-over-month were healthcare with 6.9 percent, education with 12.9 percent and agriculture with 11.7 percent. The report cited the legal field as having the only decrease.

In addition, the growth in job openings last month rose 23.2 percent compared with March 2012 and most industries saw similar double-digital improvements.

James Beriker, president and chief executive officer of Simply Hired, believes the rest of the spring will show increased job openings in most fields.

"March marks the ninth time in 11 months we have seen increases in job openings across the country, showcasing a strong pattern of growth for the economy," said Beriker.

With the continual increase in job openings, the staffing industry might begin to see a boost in the employment in contract workers across all major fields to fill opening gaps.
