Business Resources

At IES, we understand that these unprecedented times have put all businesses – small, medium or large – in complicated and unforeseen circumstances. Our goal is to provide resources to those in need amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Here are links to legislative updates on the most recent Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act).

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act was signed into law on March 27th.  This is a $2 trillion package aimed at combating the economic damage from the coronavirus crisis.  Some key provisions include:

    • Loans to Small Businesses
    • Expansion of Unemployment Benefits
    • Recovery Rebates for Individuals
    • Payroll tax liabilities delay – not a waiver

We recommend working with your CPA and legal counsel to determine what programs and assistance are available to you and how that may apply to the workers you employ.
