Global Support Specialist

Position Summary

The Global Support Specialist will deliver an exceptional worker experience through superior service, clear communication and accuracy.  This position will triage complex inquiries from candidates and clients serving as a main point of contact.

Essential Job Functions

  • Coordinates with the Global Services Manager on the international worker engagement from the client request to onboarding, employment and offboarding via IES’s Global Employer of Record partner.
  • Executes and records the worker requests into IES systems.
  • Coordinates the client-specific hiring procedure directly with the candidate and responds to inquiries.
  • Initiates background screening and ensures tasks are completed and results are communicated.
  • Serves as a liaison to candidate to ensure successful onboarding process with global partner.
  • Uploads quotes and other documents into IES’s systems.
  • Tracks client approvals in IES systems and client systems.
  • Collects worker data to initiate onboarding process with IES global partners.
  • Generates reporting for external and internal customers to keep records updated and timely with assignment end dates and offboarding. Gathers and tracks proper authorizations for extensions.
  • Ensures consistency between IES’s systems and client’s systems, including requests, assignment dates and rates.
  • Inputs data for global invoicing process.
  • Retains and regularly audits detailed procedures, in multiple systems, to ensure full accuracy.
  • Collaborates with team and shares critical information with stakeholders. Maintains open communication to internal team.
  • Displays strong aptitude for multi-tasking priorities and remaining flexible.
  • Keeps management advised of potential problem areas and makes recommendations for efficiencies and solutions.
  • Displays superior service to workers and internal stakeholders with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Applies overall corporate knowledge to drive daily decision making and prioritization.
  • Developing the knowledge of the culture and employment laws of countries with global workers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in Human Resources and/or staffing preferred.
  • Technical competencies using VMS products preferred.
  • High volume administration with the ability to handle multiple projects, manage priorities and workflows, and meet deadlines with autonomy.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that can be tailored to a broad range of requests.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
