  1. How do I sign up a new employee with IES? SAIC
    You may obtain an IES New Hire Packet on our website in the Client Center. You'll find the Employee Application under Forms. Each employee hired through IES must complete the New Hire Packet and submit it to IES prior to the employee start date.
  2. What paperwork do I need to complete to sign up the IES employees?
    After you have obtained the New Hire Packet, please ensure all forms are properly completed and signed by the employee. A Payroll Support Request (PSR) must accompany the New Hire Packet.
  3. When are timecards due to IES?
    Paper and electronic timecards are due by Monday at 12 noon PST for each bi-weekly payroll period.
  4. Can timecards be faxed?
    Yes. You may fax timecards to IES at 858-715-5110. It is important that you verbally confirm if IES has received the faxed timecard.
  5. Can timecards be emailed?
    Yes, if the authorizing signature has been scanned.
  6. What reports does IES provide to client managers?
    IES offers a variety of reports availbale to managers by request. Please call 858-715-5100 if you would like more details.
  7. What is a PSR?
    The Payroll Support Request (PSR) is completed by a Authorized Representative and should accompany the employee's New Hire Packet. This form gives IES the authorization to hire, pay, and invoice the company for their work hours. This form can also be located on our website on the forms page.
  8. Can an employee get medical insurance?
    Yes. IES has various medical insurance plans to offer in different regions of the U.S. Our Blue Cross and Kaiser plans require a client contribution of at least 50% of the monthly premium.
