Tania Fiero
PHR, Human Resources Manager
Tania has been with IES and TOPS Staffing for 16 years. She started her tenure working as a recruiter specializing in professional placements and in 1999 was promoted to Regional Operations Manager, responsible for the training and development of 10 offices in the Western Region. Other responsibilities included HR audits, HRIS management and implementation as well as unemployment administration.
Tania currently manages the Human Resources department at IES. Her specialties include training and development, employee relations, co-employment, recruitment and staffing, and knowledge of State and Federal legislation.
Tania is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) through the Human Resources Certification Institution (HRCI). She has served on the Board of Directors for the National Human Resources Association (NHRA) of San Diego for two years, and is currently the organization's President-Elect. In addition, Tania is a member of the National Chapter of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), and was named a finalist in San Diego's HR Professional of the Year Awards in 2009 and 2010.
