Gaby Mergenthal
President
Gaby began her professional career providing payment processing solutions in the financial service industry with First Data, a Fortune 500 company. In 1996 Gaby made the transition from the financial services industry into the staffing and recruitment industry. It was during this time that she worked as regional manager for TOPS Staffing, overseeing the operation of branch locations and managing major accounts. Gaby was responsible for the recruitment and maintenance of a productive team in a high turnover industry. In 2001 she leveraged her knowledge to launch a direct placement division within TOPS.
As the President of IES, Gaby manages and overseas the sales and service team while optimizing the design and implementation of new offerings. Among her notable achievements at IES was the development and launch of the company's highly successful Recruiter Services division in 2005. Gaby holds a Bachelor's degree in social welfare from San Diego State University and an Associates' Degree in business management from Grossmont College. She was a 2009 recipient of the Tribute to Women in Industry (TWIN) Award, and is a current member of Vistage.
