Elizabeth M. Rice, SPHR
President
Ms. Elizabeth Rice is the President of Innovative Employee Solutions (IES), a nationwide provider of outsourced payroll and human resources (HR) administration services.
Ms. Rice is recognized both regionally and nationally for her achievements in the HR profession, specifically in the areas of employee relations, women's workforce issues and temporary employment.
During her 22-year tenure at IES, she has made significant contributions to the company's success. Since the firm's beginning in 1972, IES has emerged as a national industry leader.
An advocate and mentor, Ms. Rice has dedicated much of her efforts toward raising education, awareness and recognition for the temporary profession. She has been an instrumental force in making temporary employment a highly respectable and sought-after career path for many individuals - especially women in the workforce.
In 1996, Ms. Rice received the YWCA's Tribute to Women in Industry (TWIN) award. The TWIN award honors women in the community for their achievements in business and industry.
Throughout her 27-year career, Ms. Rice has been an active participant in a number of professional organizations, including: Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), San Diego Human Resources Association (SDHRA), and City College and Continuing Education Centers. She currently serves on the board of directors of Temporary Staffing Insurance Limited (TSIL) and Medecell, a San Diego-based medical device company.
Ms. Rice holds her lifetime Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the Society for HR Management Institute, in addition to her business management certification from the Executive Management Institute.
